Automated Motorized Shades has been closely monitoring COVID-19 and the effect it is having on all of our lives. In the most recent local update, Broward County has issued an emergency order closing all non-essential businesses and ordering them to cease operations as of 12:01 AM Monday, March 23, 2020.

AMS has taken the proper steps to comply with this executive order. Essential employees will still be available to assist and answer any questions you may have from our Pompano Beach location. We will be maintaining a small staff that is necessary to “perform basic minimum operations” and we will be following all recommended CDC precautions and social distancing recommendations. Visitors will not be permitted at our office/manufacturing location without an appointment.

AMS highly values the safety and health of our employees, customers, and vendors. We have provisions in place for our employees to “work from home” so that we can continue to supply support through these difficult times. Our phones will be active and forwarded if necessary. Management, customer service, and technical support can also be reached via email. We want to assure our customers that AMS is here to help and we will get through this together.

Please, stay safe, follow CDC recommended precautions, and practice safe distancing. We are hoping these “interruptions” will be short-lived and we can resume full operations soon.

Automated Motorized Shades is excited to announce new products and updates on existing products.

Edessa Twilight is now discontinued. As a substitute, we suggest customers switch to the new Avila Twilight. The new Avila Twilight has been updated and improved. It is now treated with Duraguard® Fabric Protector which makes is resistant to most stains. It has also been treated with SANITIZED® Antimicrobial Protection to resist mold and mildew. There will be 6 new colors added to the existing color line. The 3 darkest colors, Black, Charcoal and Pewter, will have color matched acrylic foam backings as well. These solid colors will only be available in the FR version. NON-FR version will have white foam backing. New fabric swatch cards and colors will be available on June 1^st.

We have hired an installer! Our new installer comes to us with over 13 years of experience. Our installer is available to do repairs, services, measures and installs in the South Florida region. AMS will now be offering new, color-coordinated tension devices to our customers. These tension devices are WCMA compliant and are available in 5 colors: white, ivory, gray, brown and black. Beginning on May 15^th, 2016, color coordinated tension devices will be standard on every order, unless specified on customer’s orders.

AMS introduces our new decorative bracket line featuring bold, elegant hardware options to the roller shade collection. Our unique collection of designer hardware features European-inspired decorative brackets and systems. By pairing functionality and design, these exquisite components add unique character to your window coverings.

Our new Euro Bottom Rail is available in 6 designer colors, including chrome. This external bottom rail features color coordinating end caps for a sleek, finished look. This decorative bottom bar is ideal for most roller shade applications. Maximum width for the Euro Bottom Rail is 196”. The new Euro Bottom Rail is available in the following colors: white, ivory, brushed aluminum, antique bronze, chrome and black.

AMS is proud to introduce SheerWeave 8000. This 3% openness fabric is Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Bronze and is ideal when environmental sustainability is a concern. It is PVC-free and 100% recyclable. This sustainable material maintains outside views while allowing the use of natural daylighting. It is available in 7 designer colors and all colors are available in 118” widths.  This fabric is also eligible for LEED Material Ingredient Disclosure credits.

Automated Motorized Shades is proud to introduce our new Seasons Fabric Collection by Louvolite®. This stylish, designer collection features fabrics for roller shades, roman shades,and panel tracks. These high-quality fabrics are manufactured in Europe using a variety of yarns and textiles. The Seasons Fabric Collection offers modern, contemporary patterns and a variety of elegant textures.

Along with designer fabrics, this collection also features new cassette options. Our new Open and Closed Cassette systems are available in traditional and designer colors including chrome and antique bronze. Please see our Fascia Options for a detailed look.

Automated Motorized Shades is pleased to introduce the new Lift and Lock system for Honeycomb Shades. The new design incorporates a patented lift system, designer white bottomrail, advanced child safety features, and an easy leveling system that comes complete with a leveling tool built into the bottom rail of every shade, for fast, accurate adjustments. The shade is operated by simply pressing the Lift and Lock button to adjust and lock the shade in position, eliminating the need for unsightly cords.
At Automated Motorized Shades, child safety is a high priority. With this in mind, we’d like to introduce the new Lift and Lock enhanced safety system to our customers by offering a
free Lift and Lock upgrade to any Honeycomb shade ordered during the month of August. The upgrade is available for all fabrics including, sheer, semi-sheer, translucent, and blackout. Bottomrail is available in white only and comes standard with a white headrail.

GreenScreen® Revive is a 100% recyclable, PVC-free polyester solar shade fabric.

GreenScreen® Revive contains a minimum of 89% Repreve fibers made from 100% recycled post-industrial fiber and consumer plastic waste, making it one of the most earth-friendly ingredients you’ll find anywhere.
